The Salvation Sessions is a continuation in-spirit of The Sacrifice Sessions released earlier this year, however in pratice it is quite different. The central instrument for this album is the pipe organ, saxophone appears in two of the six tracks and harpsichord in only one track. The goal was to represent a much more "churchful" sound with The Salvation Sessions and it is way less abstract and experimental than its predecessor.
